Behind Closed Doors: Faces of Polygamy In a television event months in the making, Isha Sesay brings you a rare glimpse of the many faces of polygamy-- a one hour program in which polygamists from all walks of life and all corners of the world share their experiences about plural marriage. Polygamy has been around for centuries. Today, it's legal in some places and taboo in others, but kept alive by a mix of cultural, economic and religious factors. CNN gained unprecedented access into the often guarded lives of many people who still practice polygamy around the world. We hear from the Bedouins of the desert in Jordan, a woman with multiple husbands in India, a man with four families in Africa, and the wives of the a polygamous sect near the Utah border.
